Snowfall is a natural weather condition and cannot be guaranteed on any particular travel date. The best chances of experiencing snow are generally at higher elevations, including Sela Pass, Bumla Pass and the high-altitude lakes around Tawang.
Access to high-altitude destinations is subject to weather, road conditions, official permissions and local administration or Army clearance. Bumla Pass and certain border-area attractions require additional clearance and may involve separate local transportation arrangements.
